In an apparent effort to modernize his brand of ninjutsu, Frank Dux has embraced the role of cyber-bully and is part of an effort to dox his critics. He is doing his best to put a woman’s life in danger in revenge from him being proven a fraud.
Doxxing is a term for releasing personal information online in an attempt to get the person harassed, cause trouble at work or maybe have some sort of violence done against them. Dux and his friend, Dallas Wittgenfeld, are busy trying to get their critics in trouble by using this method. In particular, they seem to be trying to get a woman in trouble, maybe raped or killed.
Why? Because these people exposed the lies that Dux tells, particularly about his military claims. To Dux, that means they are open to any retaliation, even death.
This site is one of a few that exposes Dux’s claims. As you can see, the case is quite well laid out proving that he lied about his service in the military.
https://militaryphony.com/2017/03/19/frank-william-dux-cold-case-getting-warmer/
As per Dux’s usual pattern of behavior, he has lashed out at those that expose him, accusing them of various crimes. He is well known for this type of thing. Based on his rants over the years, everyone from the Los Angeles Times to the FBI to the Emperor of Japan are all part of a plot to deprive him of the glory they resent him having.
In the case of his being exposed on sites devoted to military frauds, his accusation is that they are extortion rackets, with links to the FBI. Why the FBI is involved in trying to tear down his claims is a little unclear to me.
To be clear, Dux has shown no proof at all that anyone at anytime threatened to put the story of his military claims up on any site unless he paid them money. He has presented not a single bit of evidence to back up his accusations.
And the truth is, there are military records for Frank Dux. He served a short while in the USMC reserves, never going overseas or engaging in anything more dangerous than doing maintenance on trucks. Despite the mentions in articles in such by and about him over the years, he hasn’t been awarded anything notable by the military and was never in Southeast Asia or anywhere else for that matter. Norman Schwarzkopf actually went to the trouble of denying the claim in Dux’s book, The Secret Man, that Dux met with him in an official capacity during the Gulf War. The book soon had to be pulled from publication when all the other lies in it were outed and it was obvious the fact checkers hadn’t done their job.
Again, according to Dux, anyone that says anything that contradicts his claims are part of an evil plot of some sort against him. He can never show proof of these dozens of plots to defame him, he just makes the accusation and ignores calls for evidence to what he says.
So, a couple weeks ago he tried to present something as “proof” that people shake down others, threatening to accuse them of being military frauds if they don’t get what they want. The screen shot is at the top, with the personal information of his victim taken out by me.
It is prefaced by a statement by Dux that goes, “Here you go more evidence that Stolen. Valor Vultures make use of libel and slander to financially benefit themselves as outlined in my artvoice.com article series and the following newspaper story.”
The link for the story he references is here,
This is what Frank Dux wants people to accept as “proof” of his claims that people shake down others with the threat of falsely accusing them of false claims of military service.
However, if you actually read it you would note that it is a case brought by a man named Joe Teti. It is a case of a lawsuit in action, not the final result. So it is an accusation, not proof. It does not say if those accusations were proved or not.
You may also note that it is from 2015. Since the case should have been decided by now, why not post a news article for the outcome?
As you may have guessed, it was because Joe Teti’s accusations didn’t pan out. He really did lie about his military service. Here are a few links showing a fuller story.

https://www.tacticalshit.com/joe-teti-formerly-on-discovery-is-called-out-by-special-forces-general/
Joe Teti lied about his experiences in the military, Mykel Hawkeye told the truth when he exposed Teti. Teti tried to accuse him of lying to counter attack, but it was proven that Teti did indeed lie and so Hawkeye is off the hook. As they say in journalism classes, your primary defense against a libel suit is the truth.
But people like Frank Dux want the mere accusation to be enough without any proof, unless of course he is the one being accused. Dux has done more than accuse critics like the LA Times, the author of “Stolen Valor” and others that have exposed his lies, he has filed multiple lawsuits against them. In each case, he lost. He has never won a libel lawsuit, but he keeps mentioning how he produced “proof” in a court of law against his critics and let people believe that he won.
I don’t know the relationship of the woman Frank Dux seems to be trying to set up to maybe lose her job, be raped or maybe killed by doxing her. She seems to just be the wife of the man (Mykel Hawkeye) that was being sued by Joe Teti in the article. I don’t think she has anything to do with the web sites that Dux hates because they expose his lies. She is just an easy victim, one not likely to be able to do anything against him.
Dux has a long history of this type of thing. Ex- friends that broke with him tell me that he often tries to hint that others should do violence against those that he dislikes. When called on it, he tries to claim it was just a joke. He has sent people to try to do violence against others, but never risks himself. Doxing and cyber bullying is exactly the type of thing you can expect from a man unwilling to do his dirty work with his own hands. It lets him stay behind the safety of his computer.
Frank Dux is what is called a cry-bully. He does terrible things to other people, all the while portraying himself as the victim. Another such cry- bully is his new friend, Dallas Wittgenfeld.
Wittgenfeld too is a military phony, as the following link shows.

And another,
https://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=29627
And yet another,
(So if we are to believe Dux’s story, at least three different sources all tried to extort money from Wittgenfeild. Isn’t that a strange coincidence?)
Wittgenfeld didn’t seem to be too happy at being outed as a fraud. He has had a series of arrests and convictions connected with harassment and worse towards the exposers of truth. Based on the fact that he was ordered by the judge at his latest sentencing to undergo alcohol abuse therapy, it looks like he is a bit of a lush and has trouble with booze.
Here is a story on that,
Here is a partial list of his crimes,
23 MAR 2017 – (FL) OBSTR.JUST./DISGUISE-MISD
23 MAR 2017 – (FL) ASSAULT-MISD
23 MAR 2017 – (MD) HARASS; A COURSE OF CONDUCT
26 MAR 2017 – (MD) PEACE ORDER – FAILURE TO COMPLY
16 MAY 1985 – (FL) OPERATE AIRCRAFT WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE
(Seriously, he tried to fly a plane while drunk?)
(His mug shot is at the bottom of the story.)
In an article on Artvoice, Frank Dux tried to get people to go to Wittenfeld’s web site, saying this,
“Among those combating this form of self-serving ambition, disguised as vigilantism, is Dallas Whittgenfeld, the combat award decorated former Vietnam War veteran, a two time Purple Heart medal recipient, and part of the US Special Forces that trained US Army Airborne Rangers circa 1968-1972, and a former drill Instructor. Wittgenfeld said he took an oath to defend this country from enemies both foreign and domestic. The profound impact of his Vietnam experience impressed on him that truth that freedom is not free and must be defended on all fronts.
That includes at home where he continues to fight for Vietnam veterans – oftentimes victims of the Stolen Valor Vultures.
Whitthgenfeld’s website http://www.thisainthell.is/ (“TAH”) does regular battle with Stolen Valor Vultures.
Several of these Vultures are “Officers of the Court” who have the means to shut down a domestic Internet server through protracted legal maneuverings By having an Internet server located in Iceland, THA evades the tactics used by the Vultures to suppress free speech.”
The last paragraph is telling. Boiled down and stripped of false spin, Dux admits that Whittenfeld’s site breaks domestic US laws against harassment, stalking, etc. To get around laws put in place to protect people from harassment, Wittenfeld had to get something set up overseas. Indeed, Wittenfeld seems to have been trying to run it anonymously, but when he was mentioned by Dux, it looks like huge portions of the site had to be taken down. It used to be full of personal information about people that exposed frauds, as well as sick things like a photo where the head of the wife of one of the veterans had been crudely pasted onto the nude body of a woman in a tub of feces. Did I mention that Wittenfeld has a decades- long history of troubles with alcohol?
In the comment section of the article on Artvoice where Dux accused even the FBI about lying that he was a fraud, there were calls for him to provide proof. Dux announced that he would not answer any questions unless people did it under their real name. Those that did got no answer, but instead had their personal information put up on Wittenfeld’s doxing site, and in at least one case he called the employers of the poster to try to get them fired from work.
We can’t expect better from Dux. He is a fraud, and a vicious one at that. But what type of person would support a man like Dux, even be his friend? To those of you that do, how can you look in the mirror knowing that the man you help is doing his best to attack innocent women, maybe getting them raped or killed? Those of you that stay silent because you think it is unbecoming of a martial artist, don’t you also try to say martial arts about making the world a better place? If so, how can remaining silent and letting a man harass and worse an innocent like this helping the world in any way?
it is time we take sides. Those that are silent in the face of this type of thing are accomplices in any violence that happens to innocents. Realize that this is the type of thing little men and frauds like Dux do to those that stand in their way. We either take a stand, or someday wake up to find that violence against women like this is an accepted part of our society.
